Therefore, it is important to be prepared to tackle this conversation with our children when it arises. In this masterclass, Dr Paula Corcoran explains with a great deal of love and compassion, how children understand the concept of death as they grow, how to deal with a child who has a terminally ill family member or who experiences a sudden death in the family, and how to deal with strong emotions during the grieving process.
